Nice lake to take a walk or picnic. Fishing 🎣 is allowed. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND FOR SWIMMING! Also there is a sledding hill for winter! 💚💯💯
I decided to check this lovely place out for the 1st time.. and I will definitely be back, because It was such a beautiful walk around the lake! Being out in nature makes everything better!
Perfect place to a family gathering near the beautiful lake 🤠
I like this park it’s small has a restroom and a boardwalk it circles a small pond that is great for kids. Carp/catfish kernel corn seems to be the bait of choice. No playground but there is a small shelter with picnic tables and a few grills. Great place to take little ones for short fishing adventures.
Great little place to go to spend some quiet time alone or with whomever you’d like! Has a walking platform that extends across the lake, where people can fish if desired or just stroll and admire the beauty of nature. There’s a world of reeds and swamp on the west side of the walking dock, and a beautiful little lake to the east. I spent a few hours here recently for some quality alone time and was able to sit at a picnic table under one of their pavilions for hours uninterrupted. All of the visitors were very polite and it just has a very pleasant feeling vibe overall. I love places where the entire community can spend time with each other and everyone fits in, there’s no expectations of appearance in places like this. Everyone treats each other as human beings should when in community settings.
