The Park of Lyman Playground is a welcoming spot for families and pet lovers in Lyman, SC. Known for its safe and thoughtfully designed play structures, it’s especially popular with families with toddlers and young children. While the main focus is the playground, dog owners will appreciate the pet-friendly atmosphere and the paved walking trail that loops through part of the park—perfect for leashed dog walks and enjoying the outdoors together.
This local park features benches around the perimeter, restrooms, clean and well-maintained grounds, and a soft rubber ground surface for added safety. Although the playground itself lacks shade, the space is ideal for easy supervision of both children and pets, making it a convenient place for busy families. The park’s paved trails allow for enjoyable walks and easy stroller or wheelchair access, enhancing its appeal as a year-round, inclusive destination.
We like coming here because it’s easy to keep an eye on the kids and they have lots of fun. They call it the rainbow park.
Needs some type of shade, especially for in the Summer,Other than that, its Such a beautiful playground, love that the equipment is big enough for parents to enjoy with their children.
Great Place in the city of Lyman..where not only can you walk a paved trail, but there is a really nice playground for the kiddos with a rubber bottom ground..lol ” No Boo Boo’s..lol There is a new section of the trail that looks really nice, and we look forward to visiting again…Nice little 3 hr get-away!
This is the park. We most often take the children too. Our children are three and nine. The equipment is usually in good working order. The bathrooms are clean. It is not a park to go to though. If it is hot out. There is no shade and the equipment gets very hot.
This park is great for toddlers and little ones! Has swings and all the play structures are fairly low to the ground, making it feel really safe for kids to roam. I love that I don’t have to worry about my kids falling and getting hurt. It’s thoughtfully designed for little ones to explore independently. Benches also available on the perimeter of the park. A peaceful, family-friendly spot.
