Located on the bayside of Long Beach, Clark Street Playground is a welcoming neighborhood park known for its clean, modern facilities and stunning waterfront views—making it a great option for families and pet owners looking for a serene escape. While primarily a playground, the space is fully fenced, which provides some peace of mind for those bringing their dogs. With separate gated areas for different age groups in the playground, restrooms, and plenty of swings, it’s perfect for visitors with children as well.
Park-goers enjoy the maintained grounds, free parking, and easy access to local amenities, making this one of the most inviting recreational spots in Long Beach. The park is open to the public, free of charge, and is known for having a vibrant community atmosphere and seasonal popularity. Keep in mind that while it’s extremely kid-friendly, official off-leash dog facilities are not described, so leashes may be expected.
Clean, modern equipment. Lots of space for all children’s games. Decent amount of parking
A small neighborhood playground, which is beautiful enough to attract visitors from miles away, such as myself. Thanks to the City of Long Beach for maintaining this so well. Free parking; no entree fees. Open to the public from everywhere.
Great spot for young kids. Separate play areas for big kids and toddlers, both separated with a gate from the parking lot and picnic area and water park. Restroom is what you’d expect but a great addition.
really fun playground… VERY clean including the bathrooms …it has a nice view and plenty of parking
This small park which is packed with nice views located on the bayside of long beach also has a good sprinkler park and playground. Playground is fenced in. There are twelve swings. There are restrooms. There is a small path to walk on towards the bay. Very romantic, I even saw people taking pictures for their wedding there once. Nice people there, however if you go when public school ends sometimes these kids come in small grounds and are a little crazy. This is one of my favorite places in the summer.
