One of the cleanest and more serene beaches I’ve been to. Loved it there ❤️

This review is all about the pool:

Pros:
– clean and spacious pool
– not too crowded
– lots of lifeguard
– handicap access to the pool
– reasonably priced entry fee

Cons:
– you have to bring your own chairs. Not really an issue just wish we knew this ahead of time.
– you CAN NOT have floaties in the pool. Must make sure it is a real life jacket for children that buckle in the front and dont have arm floaties.
– the smaller pool/splash pad area in cement. So if you have a young a child who is runner it is an issue.

Obviously I listed a lot of pros. The reason I gave this pool a 3 instead of 4 stars is because they do not have the life vest rules posted anywhere. You cannot be prepared for the pool with your child unless you go in and they tell you of this rule. It would be nice if they posted requirements at the entrance so parents can be made aware and prepare for a day at the pool. It is disappointing to enter and then be made aware of this.

Nice beach but a few problems
1. Too many sea gulls!! Don’t bring food or if you do keep it safely guarded 8 of them already came too close to me and I didn’t bring any food.
2. It isn’t the cleanest. There’s so much seaweed on the beach with bugs in it. Plus the bay is pretty disgusting to go in but pretty to look at. Also beware of the sea gulls poop while on the beach.
3. Saw a limping bird

Pool is nice the life guarded had to yell at someone no belly flopping but whatever

Over all not bad but not the worst

I was a resident so I can’t tell you much about the fee if you aren’t.

This is a nice quiet small beach with great lifeguards that are on top of things. The pool and sprinkler area is nice as well. Great for a beach day with young children. There is also a decent sized parking lot.

Very nice place.

Be careful for the mid to late summer green flies. They are nasty and bite hard.

Also…today the lifeguards blew their whistles to get everyone out of thr pool….because some kid got everything out of his behind.

And the beach and sand are off limits due to high bacteria levels and the remnants from a recent oil spill.

Despite all these setbacks…it can be a very nice plae.
