During the summer there is a small spray pad. On Tuesday summer evenings, there are concerts featuring a different theme each week…big band, Italian, Jewish. Oldies.
Perhaps the best use of the park is when it is used for festivities such as holidays and carnivals.
The park is named for a departed mayor who was loved by many people in the community.
It is not “Central Park Big,” but it is a very special place.
