Great path with some great view of the river. It is a good place for walking, running, having picnic. The path is pretty long and we could not finish it due to the hot weather. It has a good view of the Newport waterfront. There was some music there with some people dancing. We had a great relaxing time there.

It was a nice walk along the waterfront with the wonderful weather. You never know what and when you will meet🦆 every spot has its unique view. I do love those art pieces with skyline background.
The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway @ Town Square, Newport, NJ is clearly the best location to view the sunrise over the Manhattan skyline. The view of the skyline is unhindered and across the Hudson.
To access this, drive down Washington Blvd in Newport and turn into Town Square and you will see the walkway. The best spot to get a panoramic view is next to the ‘Water’s Soul’ sculpture ( posted here)
During spring time ( month of May), the earliest of the sunrise hues start from 4.30 am. Advisable to look out for weather predictions prior. The same spot is ideal for viewing the nightlights of the skyline.
