Opened in September 2023, this park features a modern playground, a small zipline, swings, and a basketball half-court, making it a vibrant spot for families and residents alike. The park is highlighted by its fresh gravel trail that winds through grassy areas and connects to the Preserve neighborhood greenway, making it perfect for dog walking in Tumwater and offering some pet-friendly trails for visitors and their pups.

With its inviting setting and access to community trails, Kindred Park gives pet owners an enjoyable, low-key outdoor experience close to home.
Nice park in a quiet neighborhood. There is a big toy, swings, a basketball half-court, covered picnic area, and small zipline. There are also little trails that go through the neighborhood.
4 stars
Great playground with zipline.
Brand new (opened Sept 2023) playground in the middle of the neighborhood. Lots of kids of all ages there on a Saturday afternoon, along with their grown-ups. Shiny new equipment includes a little Zipline. Trail around the backside will lead you to the Preserve neighborhood greenway. Fresh new gravel trail path surrounded by grass on both sides at some spots. Decent dog walking zone.
