If you’re searching for a dog park in Newnan, Georgia, Sprayberry Rd Dog Park offers a spacious and convenient spot for both locals and visitors. Located at 60 Sprayberry Rd, this community dog park is praised for its large, open spaces where dogs can safely play and socialize off-leash. Features include two separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, making it a popular choice for owners with pets of all sizes. Visitors note that friendly crowds and active supervision help ensure a positive experience.
Seating is available for owners, and thoughtful community members sometimes bring tennis balls and small pools for added pet fun. Please note, shade is limited at this park, and muddy conditions can occur after rain due to drainage issues. While the city provides poop bags and waste stations, these amenities aren’t always consistently stocked, so bringing your own is a good idea. Overall, this is a well-loved, pet-friendly space perfect for giving your dog plenty of room to roam and play in Newnan.
Love this park for the convenient location and the wonderful dogs that are always there. The city could keep up with it better. Between issues with gates and the poop bags not being filled often enough. Other than that, huge spaces and adequate seating provide an awesome space for the dogs to enjoy. Kind souls even bring tennis balls and pools for the pups.
Been to a few dog parks in and around GA. First off to complain that there is mud when it rains is just stupid. To complain that the ground is uneven is to stupid. There dogs all they want to do is play they dog care there’s mud or the ground is un even. As for others not picking up after there dog that happens in ALL dog park. But to blame the city for this is uncalled for. My dogs enjoyed the time they where there and we met a few very nice four legged friend and two legged friends. When I’m back in this area we will come back. After all is said and done it’s a dog park and I have never heard a dog complain. They are pretty much let’s go have fun.
Nice dog park well maintained. Two sections one for small dogs and one for larger. Everyone there was very engaged watching their dogs, encouraging them to play and preventing too much roughhousing.
This dog park is excellent! There is a small dog and large dog fenced area.
Everyone was very friendly. My dogs enjoyed all the space and new things to jump on.
Please note my pictures don’t do this place any justice in size.
We go to lots of dog parks on the North side of Atlanta so decided to try this one nearby on a visit. The park IS nice but there isn’t any shade and most people in this park of few dogs pick up after them, inside and outside. It’s gross to be honest, not just a few. Also it had drainage issues so even after days of sun it’s filled with mud holes and slushy areas. I’m not sure why this really nice park is so neglected but I hope it changes
