Lots of room and stocked bags for poop that most people clean up after also

I read many of the old reviews. Sad to say, the park doesn’t get the attention it should. There have been no improvements in years. The poop stations are all rusted out and don’t get emptied often enough. People do not clean up after their dogs. We are not allowed to have pools for the dogs to cool off in the summer. In s struggle to visit the dog park during baseball season. Parking is taken up by all vehicles for baseball including the trailers that sell merchandise. Drinking of alcohol is condoned by the park management. Dog park people know nothing will change because the dog park doesn’t bring in money like the baseball parks. If you want to visit a dog that is being upgraded go to Elons Beth Schmidt Dog Park. They care about the dog park. They have installed new seating new dog waste receptacles and some doggie activity things.

Nothing like all the jocks thinking they own the place, blocking people from parking even though they’re not there. Not to mention blocking sidewalks (a 3rd degree misdemeanor) which means us parents or dog park users have venture into the street to go around these pretentious gaggles.

It’s a beautiful park with a beautiful dog park (small and big dog sides)
Baseball fields and a carousel.
I’ve been meeting here with my dad and our dogs for years and I’ve never had any issues. So beautiful 🥰❤️

My pup and I had an excellent first visit here. We went to both the small/rehab dog and big dog sides of the park and both were clean and well cared-for. The water fountains are a big plus. The dogs and humans we met were friendly and well-behaved. One of the people was very familiar with the park and said that there is a core group of families who keep the park clean and safe for everyone. I look forward to our next trips.
