Small dogs under 5 lbs can get out under the fence into the parking lot…so we won’t be going back unless that gets fixed. Otherwise looks like it would be fun for my dog.
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars! There’s water, poop bags, it’s fenced, and shaded by the plethora of trees, keeping it cool, yes there’s a street right in front though it’s pretty quiet, there’s PLENTY of room for the dogs to run around and the trees make it interesting. I’ve never seen a dog park like this and I quite like it. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back.
This dog park has both a small dog section and a large dog section that is fenced in. The large section has mature trees that will provide plenty of shade during the summer months and is roughly 2 acres in size… Plenty big to let them venture. It has a watering station. No rest rooms that I noticed though. Should I later find them I will update this review. My dog’s really love to come in here though so I will be back when I get a chance.
Dog park was great for our Brittany who loves to explore in the woods. We were traveling from South Carolina to Michigan and made a quick stop for lunch with our dog. There were tables but apparently people don’t bring food into this dog park (we have in many others). One other dog literally jumped on the table after our food and when we told him off the owner berated us for having food – not for her dogs behavior. Dogs don’t “forget ” their training just because they’re off leash in a dog park and should still be respectful of space – think kids and snacks. Needless to say we packed up our food and left after being yelled at…if it was in the rules, we apologize but only dog park we have been to where that has been the case.
Open since 2022,the Rosedale Dog Park is located behind the Rosedale and Market Square Shopping Centers just off Gilead Road. Completely fenced and with separate areas for small and large dogs, there is a lot of space.
The area is well shaded and not very muddy with seating areas for the people and room for dogs to run about. A dedicated parking lot in the front, a double-gate area to keep the dogs secure and signage that indicates the rules of the park. There is also a dispenser with bags and a drop off for filled ones.
This is a super park and I would love to bring my dogs here for a run about.
