We had the BEST experience using Sandy Paws! Our little girl has been boarded before and had a terrible experience so we were very nervous. We realized after the first night that Lady May was in the best hands. We got to enjoy our vacation while Lady May did too! I cannot recommend Sandy Paws enough!

Janet is the Sweetest person. She loved our Zoey and treated her like her own. Our dog loved her. The facility is extremely clean and smells great! Janet walks the dogs 4 times a day. You have 24/7 access with a code so you can see your pup and take them out as much as you’d like. We had planned and paid for the trip to Ocracoke and had a dog sitter. The sitter had a family emergency and our AIRBNB was not pet friendly. We called Janet at Sandy Paws and she was SOOO Accommodating!! Can’t recommend this business enough!!!
We have an older Standard Poodle “Veronica” who had an injury a year ago and unfortunately had to have an amputation and now is a tripod. We felt uncomfortable boarding her at home, we are very protective of her, and wanted to bring her with us on our vacation. We are staying with my son and his family in a rental that does not allow dogs. At first we felt reluctant about leaving Veronica at the kennel but it has turned out to be a great experience. I absolutely cannot say enough about the loving atmosphere, Janet is so caring, knowledgeable and helpful you will immediately feel right at ease. Don’t think twice about boarding your dog here, they will be lovingly cared for! Last night it was thundering and we went to check on Veronica. There was Janet, making sure none of the dogs were scared! Thank you Janet. It has been a pleasure meeting you. How I wish there was a boarding kennel like this in our hometown! Thank you for your kindness!
We love and trust Janet at Sandy Paws. All of your pets needs are met. Our dog runs up the steps when we bring her back after the beach! And it smells so good, you would never know it’s a kennel!!!
