Great open field. Probably not great in the middle of summer but right now in the fall it’s wonderful. You can tell people take pride in this park, the grounds are clean and well maintained. Just watch the back lower corner for your pupper jumping in the little bit of water that pools in the ditch.
Great place to bring a ball if your dog loves fetch (mine is bored in 5 seconds).
This is a good sized dog park right next to the airport with a large yard and a smaller yard. It is a big open field with a few places to sit. There’s not really in the shade, so it could be problematic in the summer. However, if you just need a space for your dog to run, this is great. It also looked like they had a water source for the dogs. No human restrooms though.
I live in Smithfield, NC. We have a dog park, but this one was amazing!!! I was very impressed with the size of this park. There are three areas, big dogs, little dogs, and a little agility training course. They provide water and poo bags. They also provide seating and some shade for the owners. My puppy had so much fun here, we will definitely visit this park when we come back.
Love taking my German Shepherds, Sarge and Miss Kitty there to run off energy and play! It is clean and huge for our big dogs! Access to water, balls, ball launchers, and toys.
Awesome grass fill dog park! Large field for the large dog side very level and spacious. Tables, benches, balls, and water bowl are all provided. Lots of doggy bag dispenser hanging around the fences so no reason to not pick up after your dog. Your dog will love it here! Located right next to the animal shelter across from the NC Aquarium. Could use more parking spaces.
