We love this place !! Our babies have so much fun and they get all the love and attention they need. Great atmosphere and the price is very affordable.
Need a good vibe place to hang out and let your dog(s) run free? Check out Barks and Brews. First off, you’ll want to register your pups online and ensure you have their medical records available. This ensures the dogs here are healthy to begin with.
With that being said, be mindful of your own dogs and their behavior. I’d say a vast majority of the dogs here have been excellent and play really well.
As for yourself, kick back, enjoy some drinks. The bar has anything from liquor, mixed drinks, seltzers, beers, and snacks. There’s a self serve popcorn machine.
One may bring in their own food, but remember the dogs that will stare at you.
One may NOT bring in food or treats for dogs, keep that in mind.
Anyway, this place has been very comfortable, the employee team has treated everyone well, and the environment is nice. Once the sun gets behind the trees, it’s cool here during summer with the shade and occasional Kansas breeze.

Such a treasured bar to have in the city of Wichita. We are obsessed with our dog and always enjoy bringing her along with us to various restaurants around town. It was so nice that she could be off leash and play with other dogs. She mostly just sat beside us because she’s a clinger, but hopefully the more we go, the more she plays with other dogs. Friendly staff and great drink selection/specials. Idk if they have food trucks on the weekend but that would be a cool thing to add to the experience.
Barks & Brews is such a cool place that we have here in Wichita. It’s a great safe place to bring your pup while you get to have a drink and relax. The staff is very friendly, they have different events going on weekly including trivia, food trucks, live music. My pup loves playing with all the dogs and he comes home exhausted after playing for a couple hours. I highly recommend bringing your dog (sign up online ahead of time) and checking it out. If you don’t have dogs but love dogs it’s also great! You can pet and play with all the dogs and get your “fix”.
I was introduced to barks & brews about two months ago and it has easily become my favorite Wichita staple. My doggo gets to mingle with other doggos and always leaves well stimulated. They host a ton of events throughout the week if you follow their social media pages. It’s a great place to grab a drink, recharge, study and most importantly get some doggo lovins.
