Nice trail meant for excersize. Not alot of trees roots in the way, cleared out oath with bridges. Absolutely beautiful I took some pics of the artwork in assuming it was worms that did this to the trees?? they were beautiful ❤️
Extremely well maintained trail easy to follow. 3.50 miles around the lake. Much wildlife to watch. Autumn views are awesome. A nice quiet place to center oneself and enjoy nature.
It’s a gem! Absolutely beautiful place to walk, great views, lots of shade in the summer months. The walk around the reservoir is a loop of about 3.75 miles. Just perfect! Paths are very well maintained.
The “Beach” if you can call it this is disgusting. There are signs that say no swimming and the lake is filled with fungus. animal crap. no sand for playing. It’s awful and how dare they charge to get in here. This is Wolcott and I expect better than this. Shame on you!
Re: Mill Pond Trail
This 3-mile walk through the woods around Scovill’s Lake is beautiful, quiet, relaxing, picturesque, and also, seemingly very safe as well.
A great little workout that you can do at your own pace to make it as challenging or relaxing as you wish to suit your personal needs and/or workout goals. 🌤🏞🦅
It’s also a good place to capture some lovely scenic photographs (which may even include some of the local, native wildlife and birds that you may hap upon); 🦢🦆 or forage the variety of different wild Mushroom types that you can find growing here underneath the lush canopy of trees along the trail (if that’s something that suits your fancy). 🍄🪵🐿
