Great walking trail to visit with the kids or by yourself. Note: the trail entrance is across the street from the parking area

Very nice trail for walking or biking. Well kept, nice scenery, nice for sitting on the benches provided to enjoy watching the river and wildlife.

Well maintained bike walking trail with many little areas that others have gone off the trail whether to camp or be by the water. Bald eagle was near the beginning of the trail, deer, and all kinds of cool fungi off the trail. The parking lot is a decent size. Gravel. On the same road that takes you to camp Christian. There was a porta potty I noticed in the parking lot. I do not however know if that is for everybody to use or if it was there because they are working on expanding a different part of the trail that is not yet complete.

We biked on the northern finished section and the southern finished section. It will be fantastic when the trail is complete from Jones Mills to the GAP. Currently the southern end is beautiful but less used and there were lots of sticks. We had to stop twice to clear large fallen branches. The northern end was great as far north as Champion but was not mowed further north of there on the Kalb extension.
