People and pups are always respectful and the park is well kept.

It’s a nice park that’s not the problem the problem is is people allow big dogs in the small dog section and then when you say something to them they’re very ignorant and rude most people are nice and kind and they try to keep their dogs but some just let their dogs run free they open the gates up by the Pavilion and let their dogs do whatever they want and they just sit there and do nothing the park itself is nice if people would read the signs and allow small dogs on one side and the larger dogs on the other kind of pushes the smaller dogs out when the big dogs are attacking the little dogs

Great for the dogs. Not so much for the owners.

Very limited “flat ground.”
Most of the area to meander is a 15-20 degree slope. It is quite an undertaking both down & up for anyone with arthritic or unstable knees/legs.

Although there is an underground water pump station, it virtually is never operating. And so, bring your own water.

There is very little vegetation for ground cover and, as a result, avoid it if it has recently rained…a great deal of “mud” for cleanup of your “best friend” and your favorite vehicle. Be prepared.

I have been to much less worthy dog parks but this one seems to have zero maintenance on a regular basis 😣☹️.

Generally good, but another dog owner tried to physically attack my dog (YES, the OWNER- A HUMAN) because my dog was a little snappy towards his dog. While my dog’s behavior was not acceptable, the other owners behavior was shocking

Great place to take your dog. Ours is a lover, not a fighter. So sometimes we have to take her into the small dog area. But it’s never been an issue with the folks in that area. The weight limits are more of a suggestion, it’s more about whether or not your dog wants to play rough. There have been a handful of times we didn’t like how rough other dogs were (or how inactive their owners were in stopping them) But the ability to bring her into a separate area really helps. She can still play and we don’t have to leave even if she isn’t vibing with the other dogs.
