We were up at the nature park and it is a fabulous place to let the kids run around or just be a kid yourself. The giant teepee and nature play is very calming l while the rest of the playground is great for all ages. There is a spot for the younger kids, middle kids and older kids to really get their energy out!
This park is absolutely gorgeous I find it strange that a police officer is on duty the entire time hanging out at the park what is the purpose of that? in a country setting. I don’t think here is much crime. I think our tax dollars could be put to better use it seems like a lazy way to make money.
The lake was frozen and snow-covered it towards the end of January, so you would expect it to be snow-covered and frozen. Before going out on the frozen wave, make sure that it’s 100% safe and it is over.
The new playground is wonderful! Fun for all ages, honestly. Very unique to the area playground equipment. There’s an area for smaller children to play, a playground designed for older children, and a natural playground (I don’t care if you’re an adult. Go walk around the circle of tree trunks and tell me you don’t feel better.) The tunnel is super cute, as are the tiny houses. Really impressed with the outcome of last year’s work. Thank you!
Just an outstanding park. Well maintained, plenty of areas for activities, a beautiful fishing pond, walking paths, gazebos, children’s play areas, bmx track, pavilions for picnics and even an air field for hobby plane enthusiasts! Don’t forget to bring your tennis 🎾 racket and baseball gear!
