It’s a great park, they also have a dog park and a tree park from the remains of the hurricane. Very cool.
Beautiful natural park, pure good things has a play area made of wood and designed in an incredible way for the little ones. It also has a trail that will take you to the lake which has reduced its size over the years. It has other parks and playgrounds. It is very large!
Fantastic park with something for everyone. Plenty of parking. Reservable party shelter. Huge playground with a ton of play structures. Big open spaces. Meadows. Trees. Water. Dog park. Paved trails. Dirt trails. Connects up to the Swamp Rabbit Trail so you can even keep going if you want to.
The only thing to watch out for is that a bunch of the loop connectors are closed for restoration, so definitely take a picture of the trial map if you haven’t been there before. You might find yourself taking an unintentionally long way around if you don’t pay attention to the closures.
Honestly would come back to Greenville just for this park!
A beautiful area to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of parking is available. The trails are mostly flat and I like the nature. We will come back here and have to discover more trails.
What can we say? It’s a nature preserve good for adventurous people.
Good for kids and dogs, make sure to bring insect repellants for your kids, mostly in the pm.
If you are a cyclist, you can trek from here until travelers inn further north back and forth.
