Elmers Dog Park is a welcoming, dog-friendly destination located right in Ellicottville. This secure, fenced dog park offers a clean and well-maintained space for your pups to run and socialize, just steps from a large children’s playground and basketball court. The park is known for its accessibility—featuring wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it easy for everyone to enjoy a visit here.
While not huge, the park provides plenty of space for dogs of all sizes to romp. Shade from tall trees and several picnic tables make it comfortable for both dogs and their owners. Seasonal clean drinking water is provided for pets, and the availability of poop bags helps keep the area tidy. Elmers Dog Park is open year-round and prides itself on its friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite stop for locals and travelers alike.
It was nice and clean and friendly people and dogs there, after the initial shock of other dogs my puppy had fun there
Not very big, but serviceable. Should have two areas to separate large and small dogs. We waited several times since our 2 big GSDs play a little rough. I’m glad we could let them run a bit, though. The last time we were in Ellicottville, this was not available. Very glad for the poop bags. Most people used them
It was a nice enough location. However there were 3 or 4 spots of standing water that made the playtime of our pups troublesome. Don’t mind cleaning them off when muddy, but for the location of the dog park to have multiple locations of standing water was poor. Also to note, there is no separate area for small dogs, (we have 2 larger pups so not a problem for us personally).
Otherwise it was a pretty nice sized area, 3 picnic benches and shade afforded by multiple trees. It was nice enough for us to stop at on our way through the area.
Nice big park, dogs loved it. Wish they had water available for pets.
It’s a very cute, secure dog park right next to a large children’s playground and B ball court. However the 1st 10 times I took my rott puppy for socialization, we were the only ones there. The last 2 times we went he finally got to meet and play with other dogs. It would be fantastic if there could be some organization for a meeting group once a wk or month. But all in all its a great, clean, easy accessible location. They provide poop bags, picnic tables, clean drinking water (for the dogs) in season. It is open all year round.
