This is an amazing place to go with groups of all ages. Scouts family friends sports teams any thing really. It is a beautiful plave to visit for a day or a week and i will be back for thr summer💜
I always love coming here every year. It’s so big that there’s always something new to explore. If you love the outdoors, you owe it to yourself to come here at least once. There’s also a secret bonus of very restricted cell service. If you’re someone who’s constantly called upon like I am, it’s nice to be able to truly get away for a while.
Loved Camp Allegany! Limited cell service in some areas, zero cell service in others made for a relaxing time! Our group of almost 30 had to interact face-to-face for a week and that was amazing! The facilities we stayed in didn’t have air conditioning, so bring a fan or two. Enjoy nature with the immense amount of hiking, running, biking and snow skiing trails. You may even get lucky and spot a bear in the Quaker side!
Always so much fun. My wife and I stay for a long weekend at least twice a year and have been doing so for probably 10 years now. Tons of trails to cover. Lots of water to fish and kayak. And of course geobash every year! Didn’t take many pictures because we’ve been there so often but this is what I have
Such a scenic place. I would strongly recommend reserving a campsite near a river. The sound of the running river day and night is rejuvenating.
Washroom is surprisingly clean for such an isolated place and the overall campsite is very well maintained. Would definitely go again and recommend for anyone interested
