Sometimes called Sawyer Common and Sawyer Memorial Square, this park has multiple markers and plaques dedicated to town residents that fought in every war.
Some never returned and have stones dedicated to their memory. Specific markers to Private Clarence Curtis, Seaman Charles F McKean, Private Charles E. Gleason, Second Lieutenant John W. Bradley, Private William Cyril B. Gilson, and Sergeant Lawrence W. Gay.
Easy walk from the center of town and back or travel a little further to the cemetery that has roads in every direction.
