It’s nice and isolated out in the woods with nice trails.

The dog park itself is a tiny bit run down but they’ve recently been doing some work to fix it up.

There’s a steady stream of people there to play disc golf on the path that leads to the dog park which might be a downside for dog owners.

Park is set WAAAAY back on the trails. It was a quarter mile or more hike from the parking lot.
This park is a fenced off section of woodlands. It appears to receive minimal maintenance, only in the from section.
The rest of the fenced section includes a rocky hillside and heavy underbrush cover, including sections with poison ivy.
No water on site, so bring your own.

It needs upkeep like other folks have said. In some ways it’s just enough off the beaten path that it’s not crowded which may be a plus depending on your perspective. Dog had a great time zooming around. I’d say about 2/3s of the park are in need of some maintenance. On the plus side, it’s bigger than most other fenced in parks

Um well my pictures say it all it might be completly fenced in but nobody actually cares about maintaning it kinda like it was made as a scout project and then completly forgotten about and a section at the front double gate opening for like a mower or something isnt secure either my dog actually went threw it and opened it. It was rather sad to see the place actually in such poor shape to have heard such other great reviews and pictures of it regardless of the 5 min walk in the woods to get to it.

This little park is a total gem for dog owners! Discovered while visiting family nearby with my high energy puppy! It was nearly empty on a weekday morning at 7am. Followed the eagle trail past River to the dog run/ and back on what I gather is the frisbee coarse. Great 20 minute loop. We didn’t play in the dog run itself (only for time) but it looks lovely- a rare mis of open grass and some areas of trees and other growth. New picnic tables. Thanks to those maintaining this!
