Mac Point Beach Recreation Area in Reliance, TN, offers a natural and spacious outdoor environment for dog lovers. It features a beach area where dogs can enjoy water activities and allows off-leash play, making it a great spot for dogs to swim and socialize freely. While specific amenities like fencing or agility equipment are not mentioned, the park’s natural setting and beach access provide a unique experience for dogs and their owners.
My husband and I love this spot in Ocoee. We can swim, tube, kayak, paddleboard, or just hang out and enjoy amazing views. There are so many options for activities to do here. This is why we moved here from Memphis, TN three years ago!
Went to this beach area yesterday 6-25-25. Beach area is nice but bathroom facilities are disgustingly filthy with toilet paper everywhere.. Picnic tables are filthy with trash everywhere and grills are full of used coal. The health department should shut this place down or have someone cleaning these areas twice a day. I paid NULL, maybe they should up the price a little and pay to have cleaning. Yuck. Take your own porta potty if you go.
Stretching my legs from Winston-Salem to Chattanooga. Stopped also to take some beautiful pictures. It was quiet in mid March and great stop to take in the views and rest a bit.
Really nice super cool clean place to stop and swim. This place does have a sanded beach area and dedicated swim area. No dogs are allowed in this location. There are plenty of covered pavilion style picnic benches as well, including several spots to lounge and catch some sun. Parking is pretty simple on bit days that are not busy.
This is a pretty rustic place but I like it. We go at least once a week. Ample parking area, and short walk to benches, picnic tables and small sand beach. They have grills, also. There are 4 restrooms that serve their purpose but no soap and the condition of them is rudimentary at best. At least there has always been toilet paper! It’s a slightly hilly park but there is a paved walkway that is easily navigable, walking and for walkers/wheelchairs. There is a NULL fee paid on the honor system which is a very small price for the water and view.
