Beautiful area to walk, ride bikes, jog along side the creek. There are several benches, swings, and such to rest along the way. It’s dog friendly, but please help keep it clean and pick up your pets poop with the bags provided along the way.
Picnic areas are easy to get to, lots of shade, play areas for children, a pond to walk around and explore. This is a great place for all ages to enjoy.
Nice paved walking path meandering through Collegedale, going from Southern University to the Morning Pointe at Greenbriar Cove assisted living. Just past the city building is a very nice and respectful memorial for the military. The walking path includes several benches for resting along the way and a duck pond. There are playgrounds for kids behind the city building and close to the university. Most of the walkway is shaded, which is nice on sunny humid days. I’ve seen joggers, skateboarders, families, and parents with baby strollers using the walkway. This is a nice way for me to “get my steps in,” and I utilize it often.
We go to the fireworks for 4th of July every year. It’s always fun. Lots of things to do for the kids. It was very hit as expected and very crowded. But lots of fun!
What a wonderful area to go to. I ended up by the military memorial and took a couple of photos
Very peaceful and people were friendly, out enjoying the day!
