What a wonderful tribute to honor the sacrifices of our men and women who served and those that paid the ultimate price. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Doss on two occasions. His is quite an amazing story of his trials while he served and how his faith sustained him through it all. Many thanks to all the people who committed time, money and effort to create this amazing park.

Amazing place. Very well done. Nothing like the sound of all those flags whipping in the wind!

Nice memorial, but no parking…so GPS had us driving to the side of a busy road. We ended up parking at a nearby baseball diamond, and taking what looked to be a well worn path to the park.

This is one of the best veterans/memorial parks I’ve ever been to. Really comprehensive. Made me misty eyed. It’s also in a beautiful location. Parking was hard to figure out. There is a lot behind a coffee shop.
