When it was open it was okay. For the last few months the park has become more and more non-functional and is now no longer open. When it was open there was no water anywhere. The parking lot is absolutely horrendous. They seem to have construction crews there constantly but nothing ever gets done. Currently the parking lot is blocked off and there is no access to anything but the tennis courts. It’s unfortunate because while Avery dog park is much nicer, cleaner and has better amenities there are never any other dogs there. I can’t find any local dog parks that are both functional and well visited.

When I go to Tinsley Park it used to b for the walking trail. Which is pretty good for what it is I suppose. I do have some wonderful memories on that trail. But being an old skateboarder now I go for the little so called skatepark. I’ve seen and skated much better parks, but that being said I so wish that little place was there when I was a young skater. It certainly is way better than no skatepark that is for sure.

I’d never been to the playground and pavilion all the way in the back. I attended a 5 yr olds birthday party here yesterday with my family and we all had a really great time.
There are bathrooms, trash cans and it has a lot of shade. I would suggest using a tick repellent of some sort because of all the trees.
