🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Located in the beautiful Lenoir City, Tennessee, this dog park offers a spacious environment for your furry friends to play, run, and enjoy the outdoors. With easy accessibility and a large, open area for off-leash fun, it’s a favorite spot for both locals and visitors looking for a dog-friendly space. Pet owners can relax at the picnic tables while their pets socialize, climb hills, and burn off energy on the park’s hilly terrain.
The park is dog-friendly and also considered good for children, making it a perfect weekend destination for families. You’ll find wheelchair accessible parking, picnic areas, and separate spaces that accommodate both small and large dogs. A nearby pond provides a unique feature, and across the street, Tellico Lake and local trails expand the opportunities for pet-friendly outings and dog-friendly hiking adventures.
Very large area for dogs! Across the street is access to Tellico Lake.
It looks like a lot of fun with paths to walk and run but it was closed for some reason.
Friendly place. Due to large pond in big dog park, many big dogs came to small dog area. All played well and had a great time.
This park is absolutely beautiful, and the dog park is a great use of space. My dogs loved this place and got tired so quickly due to climbing the hills. (They aren’t used to them) 5 out of 5 paws.
Update: We stopped by a few weeks ago and did see someone with their pet on the small dog side. Since there had been rain, the large dog side has a hollowed out floodplain area.
Another concern is parking nearby and crossing a street to get there.
We did have a blast at the nearby Lenoir City Park and Fort Loudon Marina, but this was definitely the worst dog park that we’ve visited.
