Beautiful place, except my dog got attacked by another dog, for no reason at all. But, beautiful park, we enjoyed it until my sweet girl got attacked.

An excellent dog park with a good amount of fenced open space for large dogs to run and play. A good sized fenced area for small dogs too. Bathrooms are nearby for people; bring your own water in winter. Most folks are good about picking up after their dogs and it’s on a hillside so even when it’s muddy it dries out fairly quickly.

It’s a nice-sized dog park. Sectioned by the size of your dog. A fence separates large dogs from small dogs. On our first time there, it was odd to see large dogs inside the small dog section. Every time ever since it’s been that way. I have a very small dog so I asked the owners why their dogs aren’t playing in the large dog area. Every single one of them said it’s because there is a “clique” of dog owners in the large dog section whose dogs are not properly socialized – and the owners often ignore them. Those dogs looked friendly to me though… until I observed how they interacted with new arrivals. They gang up on them but not in a friendly way. It leaves the ones in the small dog area overwhelmed or fear aggressive. Ah! So that explains why some dog owners prefer the small dog area even though their dog is large. The “clique” they’re talking about on the other side of the fence is completely oblivious and inconsiderate of other dog owners. And there lies the problem. Every time I drive by at different times of the day this clique and their dogs are there. No wonder the park is so empty all the time. They hog the place hours upon hours like they either live there or own it. Please research this park on credible websites like Yelp and Bring Fido. You’ll notice it isn’t included in the list of “best parks near the area” so it’s just safer for you and your pup to go elsewhere.

Nice, large, dog parks. There is one large side for small dogs and another separate large area for the large dogs. There are toys for the dogs to play on. Also has a water fountain with water bowls nearby. Lots of room to run.

It is a very spacious park, with an area for small dogs and one for medium to large dogs. I don’t feel really safe there, no lightning and kind of closed off especially if there is no other people there. it is located past Knox park. There is a big mud hole that needs to be filled in and some dirt areas that could use some grass, so I would not suggest going after a rain. It does have a water station, poop bag clean up station and a play house area. They have picnic tables and several benches, which is nice. I’ve only had one incident where my dog was jumped by another dog and the owner didn’t do anything, even though the dog had a shock collar on.
