Eastern Beach is a natural dog-friendly beach area located in Brooklin, Maine. It offers an open space for dogs to enjoy outdoor activities but lacks detailed amenities specifically for dogs such as fenced areas or dedicated dog zones.
There is parking about a half mile away off the road. Walk through the woods and take a right to get this rocky, deserted, beautiful beach. No services of any kind.
I didn’t see one tick or mosquito. Maybe me wonder if the “private” people want to keep this wonderful scenic spot all for themselves. Totally worth the effort!
Birding, mossing, marine algae, many lichens
A small parking lot and a fairly long walk bring you to a rock and gravel beach. Swim, watch the boats go by, do nothing, have a picnic. Water is cold, but that’s a good thing.
Amazing beach, very quiet and dog friendly.
Beware: the walk from the parking lot to the beach is filled with ticks and mosquitos. Mandatory tick check for yourself and your dog after!
