An easy 1/3 mile loop with beautiful views and just enough elevation to keep you from getting bored if you’re doing laps
This is an intriguing preserve and the offices of the Maine Coast Heritage Trust. We walked there on a gorgeous late October morning and were greeted by turkeys coming up the slope. The meadows and forests provide lots of habitat for wildlife and there were bluebird/tree swallow nest boxes scattered over the area.
To us the most interesting thing to see was the architecture of the Trust office. A fabulous design , we wish we could have gone in there for a tour. Check it out!
