It had three gated areas, one for small ones for large and one for shy dogs. We went to the large breed side, and it had to picnic areas and a water fountain for the dogs.

The Muscatine Dog Park is separated into 3 sections: large dogs, small dogs, shy/timid dogs. Each section has benches, a water fountain, bag station, and small pavillion. There are a couple of young trees planted in each section, which will provide shade once grown. A permit is required and can be obtained at city hall. NULL for an annual permit which looks like a tag for the collar.

We walked the perimeter of the large dog area and it is just over .25 miles. The large dog section has 7 benches, 2 under a small pavillion. At the parking area are two picnic tables under a large pavillion, bag station and water fountain.

The parks department has been at the park 2 of the last 3 days, while we were visiting. Be ready to walk away with grass clippings on your shoes, especially when wet.
