If you’re looking for a friendly dog park in Enfield, Connecticut, The Enfield Dog Park is a fantastic choice for locals and visitors alike. Conveniently located on Ecology Drive, this wheelchair-accessible park features ample parking and well-maintained, fenced areas where your furry friend can socialize and exercise off-leash.
A standout feature of The Enfield Dog Park is its dedicated spaces for both large and small dogs, ensuring a comfortable environment for pups of all sizes. Dog owners appreciate the welcoming community, as well as amenities like poop bags, trash bins, and year-round access – including during winter months. While water fountains may not always be available, the park is kept tidy, mulched, and provides plenty of opportunities for your dog to run, play, and meet new friends.
The park was ok. I had been after heavy rain and the wood chips were kind of scattered. A big enclosed are is here for your dog to run free in. There are 2 separate sides one for small dogs I’d imagine.
My pup Radar LOVES this park.
The dog park is a great place to bring you dog. Dusty absolutely love running around chasing balls and jumping on things.
Heavily mulched park.
Water was apparently disabled thanks to misuse/damage. 😞
Bags and trash.
Super friendly people
Separate sections for large and small dogs, but that restriction seems to be ignored, as all the dogs present were using both sides.
Park land is privately owned and cared for, although the town does manage the parking lot
This dog park is nice. There always seems to be people there. I dont like that it’s so secluded though. Most people have been very nice and our dog has met a variety of dog breeds. I like that there are two sides..one for smaller dogs and one for the larger dogs.. I also like that they stay open in the winter time..huge score for us.
