Love this park! The staff are awesome, the grounds are clean and the view of the river is beautiful.

This is a great place for a walk, to host an event or to listen to music.

Needs more attention. More can be used in this walk, maybe a water sprinkler during summer. A water resistant outdoor gym so the water isn’t affecting them when it raises up. The sitting areas are barely usable. IDK but fishing can’t be the only activity to do, and you can barely get any here anyway – that Heron was just as disappointed as I was.

A fine trail beside Connecticut river and you will also enjoy the Hartford skyline while taking a nice walk riverside. Parking is not that big though. Found no restrooms as well. We however couldn’t stay longer due to heavy wind in lower temperature. Will definitely come again to spend some quality time during summer. Must visit place if you are around to spend a beautiful morning or afternoon.

What a great find while I was in town for work. Woke up early and took a walk for a few miles along the river. There are picnic tables and a few grills. Benches for sitting and looking at the views. A nice path to walk or run on. Although being winter when I was there you need to be mindful of ice. A great sculpture of Lincoln’s horse. Definitely worth slowing down for a little while and enjoying a walk.
