Naples Town Beach is a scenic, pet-friendly destination located right on the shores of Long Lake in Naples, Maine. Known for its accessibility and family-friendly atmosphere, this park features a clean beach, ample picnic tables, a pavilion, grills, and public restrooms, making it a great spot for a day out with both kids and dogs. The park’s picnic area, playground, and lakeside views set it apart as a versatile spot for gatherings, lunch breaks, and outdoor fun. Dogs are welcome, and visitors frequently enjoy the peaceful setting and summer activities at this centrally located community hub.
Notably, Naples Town Beach is wheelchair accessible, with dedicated parking and ramped entrances, ensuring that everyone can enjoy its amenities. While there are some posted signs about residency, the beach is open to the public and is especially popular on weekends and during the summer season. Although the boat launch is quite shallow and better suited for small crafts, the beach’s overall welcoming vibe and lakeside appeal make it a top choice in the Naples region for pet owners seeking a dog-friendly park with great amenities.
Boat launch is easy to get to but it is very shallow. It is not a good spot to launch a large (>20feet) boat. it did cost NULL and staff was helpful. If you have a large boat you will need to go somewhere else.
It’s the water.that’s nice. The town doesn’t take any pride in maintaining the nice Park area they could make the beach sand bigger by carving back the banking instead of sitting on a hill at 45 degrees and you can’t put your boat in it’s to low even in spring town hall would rather shut it down than work on it, they said that at the town meeting
A really nice beach but the sign on the road says “For Naples residents and taxpayers only”. A bit omninous of a warning but I looked anyway. Turns out that it’s open to all folks resident or not. I’m not sure why the double messaging. Clean beach, picnic tables, grills, pavilion, playground and restrooms it’s all there.
Awesome location! Very busy summertime, staff can rude at times.
Nice quiet place on the lake to have lunch and let the kids run around
