We love the playground here! It’s great for school-aged kids, and allows them to take a lot of risks. There is equipment that allows them to climb high and jump far. The playground is in different sections, so the kids will want to run back and forth; don’t come here if you are a helicopter parent, because you’ll stress yourself out.
I also love the swimming pool in the summer, and we enjoy climbing some of the trees by the gazebo. There is some neat artwork near Kentucky Ave as well.
The park has a skate park, baseball field, and tennis courts. There is a shelter you can use for free- it’s first come first serve, but it’s a great place for birthday parties or get togethers.

Was racially profiled against and had the cops called on me for NOOOOOO reason. For an interaction that had absolutely NOTHING to do with me. I had PLENTY of witnesses that walked up to me apologizing on the behalf of the workers because it was terrible and they knew I did absolutely nothing. If you are a person of color please don’t support the establishment anymore the manager and her head worker are both racist. I wish I could’ve gotten the cops name as well that never even gave me as chance to speak and let them know they had the wrong person but I guess in their eyes I fit the description. I WILL NEVER be back so there will be won’t be a second time to embarrass me like I’m a criminal or a thug. Wish I could leave ZERO stores. Educate yourself and Do better management.

Woodland is a really good part in Lake Central of the Lexington. People usually play tennis paddle. There is a rollerskating area as well and a baseball court not only that it also has a basketball cord as well. Really cool part if you ask me.
