Stopped back again after the rain and camped down in the lower area. Cute place, we were a little concerned about whether the river would breach. Luckily it didn’t. The ground was thoroughly waterlogged though.
Nice campground, quiet. We were just passing through, only stayed one night. Services all worked, people were friendly.

This was not what we expected in the least. The second we arrived and went to register we brought our dog and the owner immediately sent us away saying no dogs allowed inside (even though its a dog-friendly facility). There was no sign on the door saying no dogs, but she very insistently told us to get out rather than having us stand there for the three minutes it would have taken her to give us our registration paperwork as we were already pre-paid and registered. The campground is extremely small. There was no place for us to put our Starlink as there was no open view. We tried to buy ice after we arrived and there was none available. There was a pool that we didn’t use, but it looked well-maintained. There were RV/trailer sites within the campground that were in a state of deterioration. Overall, it was a pleasant location, but the access was challenging due to the winding one-lane road, and the owner was dismissive.

Very interesting place. Overall experience was good, staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and full shower amenities. Full store with a game room. We visited April 2025. Our site 63 was big enough for 32 foot trailer. Full hook up available. Easy in and out pull thru site. The interesting part is that this site was a buddy site. We were 30 feet away from another trailer , facing each other and personal space was not honored. The neighbors were nice, but had people walking through our site, taking over a table we had to get back. I then realized most pull thru if not all sites were buddy sites. Campers facing each other close enough to make it weird. We didn’t have a space to stretch out in chairs to enjoy a fire because of the closeness. I think I saw a few sites with a bit more privacy which I will look into if we stay again. Dog friendly with a nice little gated area for dogs. We would try another visit. Local bar- leather outpost?- Had good food, drinks and dog friendly. Retriever brewery was good too.

Pretty campground with nice staff, clean bathrooms and showers, fishing creek (with no fish after March trout stock rush) seemed a little uptight with rules, permanent live in residents driving in and out a lot. AVOID ordering food from Giuseppe’s Pizza, it was bad. Besides that great quiet stay.

Wonderful campground! Very accommodating owners! My family and I visited this campground for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. Our immediate family came from all over the country and the owners were more than gracious enough to accommodate us in cabins, tents and RV sites. Visitors were coming and going all the time and the owners welcomed each one with a smile, providing ample parking. All the bathrooms we visited were extremely clean. The playground was well maintained. We enjoyed some mini golf while we were there and even saw a snake. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!
