Located at 27180 Schady Rd, the Olmsted Township Dog Park & Nature Trail is a favorite spot for dog owners seeking a clean, spacious, and pet-friendly dog park in Olmsted Township, Ohio. This well-maintained park features two fully-fenced areas, allowing a safe, off-leash environment—one designated for small dogs under 25 lbs and another for larger breeds. The park also includes a scenic, one-mile paved nature trail, making it ideal for dog-friendly hiking and strolls with your furry friend.
Pet parents will appreciate the thoughtful amenities such as benches, shade from mature trees, waste stations, and agility equipment. While a primary water source is not located within the fenced areas, water is available at the parking lot and by the park entrance, so plan to bring a bowl. The park welcomes children and offers accessible parking for all visitors. With plenty of space, a peaceful setting, and a welcoming community, it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking outdoor fun with their pups in Northeast Ohio.
The Olmsted Township Dog Park and Nature Trail is very nice! Good amount of room for the dogs to play, clean and up to date, the trail is nice. Definitely work checking out with your pup!
This is a wonderful dog park. It’s split into two sides one for the dogs under 25 lb and the other one for dogs over 25 lbs. They also have water features for the dogs. We brought our granddog here and he absolutely loved it.
They also have a large walking trail around the park. We highly advise anybody that can check it out. Or if you just out for a ride go check it out it’s very nice.
One mile paved nature trail. Water is available at both the parking lot and by the dog park entrance.
great park!! walking trail is great. dog park has two very spacious parks, one for lil pups 25lbs and one for larger. trees, little obstacle course, water and many benches.. thank you we enjoy this so much.
This dog park lacks a primary water source within the dog park area. With temperatures 90+ this is a huge negative. There IS water available in the parking lot. Many amenities, but it seems like whoever built this park failed to look at any other dog park ever built.
