This dog park could easily be 5 stars with very few additions or money spent on advertising and fundraising. The park is right on the big muddy, which brings so many mosquitoes. It would be nice to have a couple more benches or even a table. Finally, I think adding a few obstacle/agility activities would really attract more people. So many people don’t even know Murphy has a dog park. It’s not a bad park by any means, I use it often. But I definitely feel like its lacking in things to do or advertising.

It’s a well kept fenced in area. I would like to see a playground for active dogs.

This is actually a pretty well laid out dog park. It has one poop bag station right by the entry gate and then it has one poop bag station with the trash can almost at the other end of the park, so no matter where your dog decides to go you don’t have far to go!! The watering station is right in the center of the park. The fencing is very nice and it is all green so at certain angles you don’t really see it. One very nice thing is a lot of local businesses obviously sponsor this part and they have their names up on placards all around Park so that you know who to thank!! There is plenty of room for your dog to run and there are trees and grass and the little bit of dirt and a bunch of leaves all over the ground!! They got a plastic tube for your dog to run through if that’s what it likes to do!! The only sad or questionable thing I could find is it looks like someone left their dog chained to the pole inside the park? People? And obviously they didn’t come back for a long time cuz the dog turned to stone?
