We live in Texas and it is well worth the 34 hour drive!!! Travis and Brandy are super friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you get there! Lots of bears!!! Their guide Jay and brother Jimmie and Jay’s son Jayden are super awesome guys!! They help you any way they can…answer any questions you may have…very impressed with Jayden! Very nice lodge…awesome view of the mountain….my husband and I wanted our own privacy in which Brandy granted our request and it was perfect!! Thank you again Travis, Brandy, Danielle, Jay, Jimmie and Jayden!!! We will be back next year for an amazing time!

There aren’t enough stars to rate this place. Travis, his wife Brandi and, the couple of staff members that they do have were very hospitable, kind. They go out of their way(with ease might i add) to make every person feel comfortable and welcome. There isnt enough great things to say about the experience, spending a weekend in one of their historic and rusric cabins. The lodge is full of everything youd expect to see in Maine. It could be an L.L Bean catalogue cover its is so perfect, but its authentic, historic, or just purely”Maine”. Thanks for the great stay, cant wait to go back
