Looking for a welcoming dog park in Mill Valley, California? The Dog Park at Bayfront Park is a favorite among local dog owners and their pups. This spacious, open dog park features beautiful views and plenty of room for off-leash running and socialization, offering a peaceful escape with pet-friendly trails running alongside a creek. The area is wheelchair accessible and is good for kids, making it a popular spot for families and their furry friends.
Visitors appreciate the park’s sociable canine community, scenic setting, and amenities like agility equipment (though not all dogs are interested!). While there is ample green space, it’s worth noting that the grass can get overgrown in spring and summer, sometimes attracting ticks, and the nearby bay water and creek can make for muddy paws. Nevertheless, this dog park stands out for its safe, relaxed atmosphere and dedication to providing a clean space, with most guests keeping it tidy.
Safe, Peaceful, Beautiful open space. Nobody litters and the occassional dogs that frequent the Dog Park have always been sociable.
This is a wonderful dog park. The only complaint I have is that people that have little dogs that play with little balls are dangerous for big dogs. My dog swallowed a little ball here. It cost NULL,600 to have it removed with a scope. They should have a separate area for little dogs with little balls
Amazing place to take my dog out for socialization and off leash running. Watch out for the dirty bay water though!
Large dog park running next to a creek—watch out for very muddy paws if your dog goes in the water. Some dog trick things there that my dog was absolutely not interested in.
The best dog park we have ever been! It’s spacious and has a good view. The only thing is sometimes the grass is overgrown. Ever since the park was covered with long grass, I started to find ticks on my dog – not many but one or two. I wish they could mow the lawn more often especially during spring and summer.
