Such a nice getaway, very friendly staff. One of my favorite places to go.
Best place to go kayak fishing. On my first trip we saw a fawn on the banks edge. Eagles flying. Caught several fish. Lots to see here. Camping. Boating. Play areas. Great place.
Stayed one night on our way through our big road trip. Cutest and my kids enjoyed the play area (4 and 1.5yo) a lot of kids playing through out and easy pull through area for the rv!
This is a nice small park. They had some easy to walk trails, a nice playground and lots of area for the kids to ride bicycles. There were several nice lakes to fish or kayak on. They had a new looking kayak launch and a small boat ramp. The whole lake is a wake free zone so it is very peaceful but no swimming is allowed. The bathhouse was very small but well maintained. If you intend to use electric here, bring a 50 amp male plug to 30 amp female plug adapter, you will need it. Many of the campsites were pull through sites. The water +electric or full hookup sites were small sites and nothing to write home about but the primitive sites were well spaced out and beautiful, most with lake views. If you are out and active when you camp it’s a nice place but if you are stuck in your campsite it might be a little lacking.
Amazing campsites and kayaking!! Plus a nice shower house which was a welcome bonus!!
