Large Green space for kids to play. Playground equipment is a little dated but still in good shape. Area makes for a really good opportunity to explain how lock and dam systems work to older kids.

We were looking for a quick place to stop and get out to stretch. The kids absolutely loved it. The park is very nice and the views are spectacular. If it has rained recently, grab a towel for the slides and swings. But a little water won’t hurt. Definitely check it out for a picnic even if you don’t have kids that need a playground. It’s a peaceful spot.

Nice place for a park setting . Open space for frisbee games and flying kites! Picnic tables. A swing to sit and watch the barges go by. I have came here since i was a kid. Nice place to walk( trails, nice view to see the river from the lookout) on a first date or with the love of your life ♡
