Nestled in Rillito River Park, this park features a large, open area perfect for letting your pup roam and socialize. The grounds are typically very clean, thanks to regular maintenance and daily clean-ups between 1–2pm. Visitors appreciate the friendly, responsible morning crowd and the welcoming community atmosphere, highlighted by special touches like occasional baked goods sales from a retired professional baker.
This dog park stands out for its accessibility and thoughtful amenities. It includes wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, ample seating and shade, a fresh water source for dogs, picnic tables, and waste stations with bags. Restrooms are available within walking distance, making it convenient for both owners and their dogs. Although it lacks grass and can be a bit dusty, the park’s size, shaded areas, and engaged community make it an appealing spot for pet owners seeking a true dog-friendly oasis in Tucson.
Great dog park! My favorite in tucson. Highly recommend!
Large dog park, recommend only going in the morning, crowd is much friendlier and watch their dogs. Pm crowd usually has some folks that think it’s okay for their dogs to run amock and hump, some are very aggressive as well. Owners there are not very responsible. Pm crowd definitely not for small dog owners.
A lot of space although comes with dust. Fresh water source in park and plenty of shade trees. Great group of regulars, look for the baked goods sales by the park’s retired professional baker!
I love this place as much a my dogs do. They shut down and do a daily clean up between 1-2pm. Make sure you bring a bag for your furry friends though 😉
My dog enjoys this park! Very clean and thoughtful dog owners most of the time.. have seen a few screaming matches between owners… I went around 6-9 and there was at least 60-70 dogs there, also bags are stocked which is nice! Tons of places to sit and water is accessible for dogs. There is bathrooms in walking distance of the park, doesn’t have grass.
