This park is a hidden gem!!! Huge open area with a skate ring, multiple baseball fields, playscapes for kids, a place that looks like a cricket pitch. Restrooms are a problem during off-peak hours.. but they have portable restrooms, if you’d use those.

Love the nature around. Definitely one of the best parks in the Area.

My sons and me like to visit different playground during the summer. I came to see this one and need maintenance. The rest around here are clean an nice.

Very muddy, wet dog park w a hole in the inbetween gate so that the small dogs can escape and go to the large dogs by climbing under the fence.
Outside of the dog park are large green fields, you can walk 5 min to the left and 5 min to the right and walk 5 min to see the water. There is a place for kids to play, which is nice, but that’s the absolute highlight of the entire park.

With all honesty, we didn’t like the park. Our personal impression is that it’s the worst park in the greater Plainsboro area.

First: the general design is bad. There are huge areas that serve no purpose. There are numerous sports installations, bleaches, a sort of a baseball diamond, and several courts with no net (neither for basketball nor for volleyball).

The huge swaths of land are useless for picnic purposes, for the trees are only planted by the lawns’ edges, thus no shade available.

There is a smaller dog park (one park for all dog sizes), a small picnic area by the park’s entrace with a pair of benches, and a few portable restrooms. The only available water fountain was out of order. So was the children playground, under renovation.

The general maintenance is very poor. The asphalt walkways are cracked. There are weeds everywhere, including the sports courts. Combine it with a total absence of hiking trails, and you get the idea of the general dissatisfaction one gets upon visiting.

We walked in the park for about an hour, on a nice and not so hot day. Within the hour, we didn’t encounter one single living soul. Speaks a lot about the place’s popularity.

One parking of a good size is by the park’s entrance.

Not recommended.

Newly built playground with lots of new puzzles. It’s meant for the 5-12 age group but toddlers can enjoy it too. The playground is also wheel chair friendly.
