The bad : no parking space
The ugly : the open drains around the children’s play area.
It’s just a nice park to go there and chill and they have playgrounds and a little walk track and outside gym equipment and there is a memorial on the Lewis Brothers a historic black family based out of freehold and there is a pavilion dedicated to the Lewis Brothers as well
Really nice park! Not too big, but it’s open, very well kept and clean. Perfect little hidden gem with table area, benches, swings, slides and a telescope. Not sure how well it works but thought that was pretty awesome! Oh, and there’s a trail that goes around the perimeter of the park.. Definitely going back!!
A beautiful local park that is great for everyone in the family, even the fur babies! There is no super convenient parking but it’s still worth the visit!
I really didn’t enter Veterans Park didn’t know it was even there. Came across it when walking my dog. It seems like a nice place in a nice neighborhood too. Like to visit it someday. It appears to be a playground but it’s a fairly big park.
