Reviews
We love bringing our dogs here. They have a less active and big dog part. It’s always cooler than in the valley and the dogs love it.
Plenty of seating and shade! They even have a little agility course.
A very nice city park co-located with the beautiful city library and multiple athletic fields offering many sports options. As the name implies there is a dog park / play area there as well. Lots of big trees and shade 😎
This is a guaranteed stop for us anytime we’re traveling with our “house horses” through the Payson. Came across it using the BringFido app. We travel about yearly with our pups too and from Missouri in our way to the East Valley. Always friendly dogs … and people. Property is well maintained with plenty of poop bags available for quick and easy clean up. Harley loves the amount of tennis balls scattered across the property and immediately darts in to find one to play with.
I’ve been going here for about a year and have noticed a trend of pet owners to not be mindful of there dogs.i.e not picking up after them and not controlling them.
This morning my dog and I couldn’t get through the gate due to other dogs pushing on me to get to my dog and showing very aggressive behavior. I put my dog in the truck and went and gave the owners a piece of my mind , I told that I was a moron and I replied for them yo read the park rules and have the day they deserve.
This park is supposed to be calming but it’s turned into a place where only if you belong to the park gang can you enjoy it.
This park has everything. Playground, dog park, skate park, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, horseshoes (the game), and so much more I didn’t have time to see on my short rest stop. Definitely a great place to bring the kiddos of all ages.
