Sunnyslope Dog Park is a welcoming, pet-friendly destination located at 7116 W Olive Ave in Peoria, Arizona. Popular among local dog owners, the park features two fully fenced grassy enclosures—one for large dogs and another for small dogs—making it a great spot for dogs of all sizes to play and socialize safely off-leash. The park is known for its clean, well-maintained grounds, shaded picnic tables, seating areas, and a unique fire hydrant feature that dogs love.
Beyond its dog-specific amenities, Sunnyslope Park includes a playground, basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables, as well as public restrooms (though they are up a steep hill and not easily accessible from the dog area). While there is no dog water fountain or waste bags provided, the park offers green grassy space and a laid-back vibe perfect for both pets and their people. Sunnyslope is also wheelchair accessible and offers a variety of amenities for the whole family, making it a top pick for anyone looking for a dog park in Peoria, AZ.
No water, dog bags or scoopers. No path going down big hill. 1 shade structure. Grass is green and kept clean.
I like the size, the seating, and the fact that the grass is kept up. However being that it’s an older park there are no lights and no access to water.
I haven’t been to the Park in quite awhile. I need Asst to walk any distance & it is Dangerous to Cross the Streets. But I used to take a Little Doggie there years ago. It is a very nice park. The Dogs & People seem to Enjoy it.
The Sunnyslope Dog Park has two large fenced in areas for dogs to play and interact with other dogs. It also has a playground for children, basketball court, and tennis court. It’s a fun family park with public restrooms.
This basic dog park has 2 enclosures, one for large and one for small dogs.
Both have shaded picnic tables, thick grassy area and a fire hydrant for the dog to do their stuff on. Down side is that there is no water or watering trough. There is no easy access up to the bathrooms that are at the top of a very steep hill. Once you get up there, the pet water fountain does not work. The concrete walking path that leads up to the dog park is winding and far from the parking lot.
