Great walking path. The disc golf course is revamped; every hole has a basket, and there is a variety of holes.
Nice place to watch your kids play baseball but they need to maintain their facilities. The restrooms are always nasty but worst of all. My son’s baseball team has had several practices cut short and even a game had to be scheduled to play the final 20 minutes because the lights randomly trip the breaker. Seriously, Kershaw County Recreation Department has NOONE WITH ANY MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE!
I use the Sweetgum trail connector to walk my dog, it’s a nice wide paved trail with lots of shade that connects this park to Scott park. Scott park’s trail is nice too but not nearly as much shade.
deserted. no actual parking. not an actual dog park. has an abandoned baseball field with bleachers and dug out and open field for disc golf. could be repurposed for a different type of park in the future.
