Very clean, well maintained, and staff is very nice. Great experience for a long term stay!
Classiest RV resort in Whitney. For the price you get a lot. Private bathrooms, laundry, and pool. Fireplace and dog park too. Top notch!
Miss Tina is the heart and soul of this RV campground! She’s so friendly and helpful! We are staying for an extended period of time for work and She’s allowing us that. The pool is amazing and the showers are cleanest I’ve ever seen. Beautiful, new RV park. Best in the area!
We absolutely loved our week at The Palms.
We were initially supposed to be using our Thousand Trails membership to stay for the week at Lake Whitney. Upon arrival, that campground was horrible so we had to find another place for the week at the last minute. We called The Palms and Tina was so helpful in getting us a spot right away.
The RV resort is super clean, has paved back-in and pull-thru spots, and even a paved spot for our tow car. We were there during the winter months so we didn’t get to use the pool or community picnic area but it looked lovely.
There’s a grocery store within minutes and we didn’t mind the 30 min drive to things like the Mammoth site or the 50 min drive to Waco. And the weekly rate was just perfect! Tina even knitted the sweetest teddy bears for our 2 kids and gave us a dish towel she made. A gracious camp host in deed!
We’ll stay again when in the Lake Whitney area.
CLEAN CLEAN and CLEAN restrooms, with a self-service laundry mat, a small dog park with lots of empty grass fields to walk your dog too, a swimming pool and covered picnic location with fireplace. Nice long concrete pads for RV of any size. The only downside is no trees and no shade. Location is named “The Palms” but all the palm trees seem to be dead or dying. That said, Tina from the front desk is amazing and helpful. We definitely will be back. Did I mention the clean bathrooms?
