Looking for a dog park in Lancaster, South Carolina? Municipal Justice Center Park is a convenient, pet-friendly location where families and dog owners alike can enjoy the outdoors. This dog-friendly park boasts wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, making it easy for everyone to visit.
The park offers amenities such as a playground, slides, and public restrooms (although some reviews mention these may not always be available). While dogs are allowed, the park is shared with a children’s playground, and there is no mention of a dedicated, fenced off-leash area. Picnics are welcome, and there’s ample space for walks, creating a casual atmosphere for you and your four-legged companion to relax and play. However, recent visitors note some maintenance issues and encourage caution for those with small children.
Very nice Park to bring the kids for an afternoon of Fun
Took my grands to the part while in Lancaster, but we didn’t stay the equipment. They didn’t look safe, and my babies were afraid, so we left to go back to the one in our home town
Took my Granddaughter there while she was visiting. This park has really gone downhill. It was dirty and the play equipment was run down or completely broken. I also did not trust the area it was in. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.
It’s a convenient location but there’s always been something broken somewhere in the park. Lamp posts that were dug up and still laying on the ground. The pirate ship just got a new slide this year but the red jungle gym has been in shambles for a while now. There’s always trash and random people without kids parked in the parking lot. Restrooms never open.
Great park as a kid, looks like they took out the old firetruck which is a little disappointing but still had some great memories here.
